The highly anticipated lunar mission to place the Peregrine spacecraft on the moon is now in jeopardy after Astrobotic Technology reported a “critical” propellant loss from a fuel leak less than 24 hours after its launch from the United States. The failure comes after United Launch Alliance successfully launched its next-generation Vulcan rocket from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Despite this setback, the company remains optimistic about the future of the space launch.
