In a shocking revelation, actor Frankie Muniz has disclosed the reasons behind his absence from two episodes of the hit show Malcolm in the Middle. The former child star, best known for his role as the titular character in the popular TV series, made the surprising announcement during a recent episode of I’m A Celebrity Australia.

Muniz shared that he walked off the set due to the unbearable working conditions, citing the behavior of certain individuals on the show. “Everyone was so afraid to stand up when certain people were controlling or rude or disrespectful,” he explained. “They walked on pins and needles.”

Speaking on I’m A Celebrity, Muniz disclosed that he was able to retire at the age of 19, thanks to the substantial earnings from his Malcolm in the Middle role. He further mentioned that he continues to receive residual checks from foreign reruns of the show.
