Following the release of Gemini 1.0, the company introduced Gemini 1.5 Pro in February, the first model with a 1 million token context window. The Gemini API is now available in Google AI Studio and Vertex AI for enterprise customers.
Furthermore, Google has introduced Gemma, a family of lightweight open models created from the same research and technology used in building the Gemini models. The 2B and 7B models have garnered millions of downloads since their launch, with new variants such as CodeGemma and RecurrentGemma added last month to cater to developers and researchers.
