With One UI 6.1, Samsung plans to rename this feature to Battery Protection, and introduce three customizable modes: Basic, Adapt, and Max. The Basic mode stops charging at 100% and resumes at 95%, while the Adapt mode charges the phone up to 80% and pauses until it’s time to wake up. The Max mode stops charging at 85%, known to be beneficial for the battery’s health.
One UI 6.1 is expected to be pre-installed in the upcoming Galaxy S24 lineup, which is rumored to be packed with AI-powered features.
