Celebrated Hollywood actor Vin Diesel is embroiled in a legal battle as his former assistant, Asta Jonasson, has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles, accusing the actor of sexual battery, a hostile work environment, wrongful termination, and the intentional infliction of emotional distress. The lawsuit, filed on Thursday, alleges that the incident in question took place in 2010 at the St. Regis Hotel in Atlanta while Diesel was filming “Fast Five,” a part of the highly successful “Fast and Furious” film franchise.
Jonasson’s claim asserts that Vin Diesel sexually assaulted her during a suite encounter at the hotel, while the actor vehemently denies the allegations. His lawyer, Bryan Freedman, has adamantly refuted the claims, stating, “Let me be very clear: Vin Diesel categorically denies this claim in its entirety. This is the first he has ever heard about this more than 13-year-old claim made by a purported nine-day employee. There is clear evidence which completely refutes these outlandish allegations.”
